What is angel investing?
Do I have to be a financial or investing expert?
Are there active women angels here?
What are the requirements to be an "accredited" investor?
How much time and energy does it take to get involved?
What's the best way to get started?
Is my business or personal experience helpful?
The Women's Investor Network (WIN) invites you to "Get to Know an Angel". Learn about early stage investing, and get your questions answered in a relaxed setting where every question is welcome, and the answers are jargon-free. This event is an opportunity for women unfamiliar to angel investors to talk with women with experience in angel investing. Learn about what is unique and fun - and financially rewarding - by becoming an angel investor.
Our hostess for this evening is Barbara Bauer. She is the Founder and Director of the RVC Women's Investor Network (WIN) and the Director of the Rockies Ventures Institute. Prior to joining RVC,
Participation is limited to a small group of women interested in angel investing, so please register quickly. We're looking forward to meeting you and sharing our experiences on becoming an angel!
*An accredited investor has financial assets of $1 M, not including their primary residence, or annual compensation of $200 K or more.
