    Northernmost Medical Devices, Inc., is a Canadian startup developing machines to preserve and transport donor organs for transplant. Its first product, NoMo™ Kidney Pump, is a next-generation perfusion machine designed to replace the static storage cooler and modernize transplantation logistics. Based in Edmonton, with a planned US hub in Denver, the company is led by the people who designed, built, and commercialized today's market-dominant kidney transporter. They've returned to disrupt the market they created over 20 years ago.

    The RVC Deep Dive is a 90 minute virtual meeting held between company executive leadership, RVC Investors, and RVC staff. The purpose of this meeting is to cover all major due diligence questions such as business strategy, team, product, competition, IP, market, traction, key risks, and exit strategy. 

    The structure of the meeting is as follows:

    • Company Pitch (15 minutes)
    • Guided Q&A w/ Investors (45 minutes)
    • Investor Only Discussion (30 minutes)

    To attend, you must be an accredited investor (net worth of at least one million US dollars, not including the value of one’s primary residence, or have made at least $200,000 each year for the last two years [or $300,000 together with his or her spouse if married] and have the expectation to make the same amount this year). These forums serve to pool the wisdom, expertise, and capital of many individual angels. There is no requirement to invest and each investor has an opportunity to indicate interest in following or leading a specific deal. Both new and experienced investor members are welcome at forums -- this is the best way to learn hands-on about angel investing!

      RVC Women's Investor Network

      Screening Committee

      Join the RVC Screening Committee to review and select pitch applications for the upcoming Women's Investor Network Investor Forum. Each cycle, RVC receives over 100 applications for the opportunity to present to our network of investors. The RVC team then selects the top applicants for each cycle to discuss with investor members during the screening committee meetings.

      During this session, we will be screening applications from all industries, including but not limited to Technology, Cleantech, and Life Sciences. For this investor forum, applicants must have a female co-founder/executive to be considered for selection. We encourage you to join us whether you are an industry expert or novice seeking to grow your investor knowledge!

      For this cycle, we will be reviewing and selecting applications to pitch at the upcoming RVC Signature Series: Women's Investor Network Night.
