Zombeez Footwear is a Buena Vista, CO-based footwear company that has created a patented copper control, antimicrobial shoe outer sole that actively kills bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Designed for healthcare workers, by healthcare workers, the company has designed a shoe that uniquely addresses healthcare workers’ most pressing footwear needs while also acting as a critical piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that could help reduce the transmission of “Hospital Acquired Infections” (also known as “Healthcare Associated Infections,” or HAIs) - in other words, the shoes offer comfort, support, breathability, durability, and stability for long shifts, as well as hygienic (easy to clean) and non-slip properties in the face of various types of fluids and liquids. The company has been issued a patent, completed user testing, finalized its product design, established its key supply chain and logistics partnerships and is seeking funding to purchase inventory and officially launch its product via D2C sales to US-based healthcare workers.

The purpose of this meeting is to meet face-to-face with the company CEO and leadership in order to get crucial questions answered.  The Deep Dive will take place in Denver and will cover all the major due diligence questions such as IP, competition, leadership, funding strategy, exit strategy, use of funds, milestones, etc.
