Rockies Venture Club (RVC) will be supporting the CSU Collegiate Challenge once again this year by holding their “Investor Triage” sessions. These special sessions will provide accredited investors from Northern Colorado and beyond the chance to supply feedback and advice to competing, collegiate companies.

The CSU Collegiate Challenge is unique in its focus on providing enriching, educational experiences for every competitor including expert feedback from angel investors and experienced entrepreneurs. The RVC Investor Triage session will be instrumental in supporting the educational focus for the competitors.

The Investor Triage will leverage the wisdom of the investor crowd to supply a group evaluation to pitching companies seeking investment. All competing companies will be discussed in the Investor Triage, and companies will later be invited to sit-in on a follow-up session with investors and the RVC team for a deeper dive. Each competitor will then receive a feedback report from RVC outlining the the investor feedback, investor questions, due diligence issues and advice on next steps.

If you are an accredited investor, come on down to the competition and take part in the Investor Triage!

About the CSU Collegiate Challenge

The CSU Collegiate Challenge business pitch competition is the very real chance for a student-led company to walk away with cash and other prizes to jumpstart their business. More than just a competition, the CSU Collegiate Challenge aims to inspire and educate student entrepreneurs to improve their success trajectory by connecting them to the robust CSU and Northern Colorado entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The grand prize includes $20,000 in cash and automatic entry into a regional challenge to compete for a shot at the Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge with a cash grand prize of $250,000. The second place winner receives $5,000 in cash and other prizes, and the crowd favorite wins the Audience Choice Award for $2,000 in cash.
