Time
Tuesday October 8th, 5:30-7:45pm

Event Schedule:
5:30-6:15
Networking Happy Hour
6:15-7:00 General Solicitation Panel

Now that General Solicitation, or the ability to advertise the sale of securities to raise money for startups is "live", we ask our expert panel whether this is something most RVC companies are going to want to do.

What are the risks to using General Solicitation?  What happens when SEC rules are broken? What are the new regulations with regard to certifying Accredited Investors? What can and can't you do with General Solicitation?

We would like to end up understanding the trade-offs of taking on General Solicitation.  Will it make fund raising any easier, or does it just add a lot of paperwork and compliance to an already difficult process?
