This workshop provides hands-on work to help you understand the terms of your term sheet and make sure you structure the deal that gets you not just through the current round of funding, but that carries you all the way through to a successful exit.

Participants will have the opportunity to bring in their term sheets (if they have them) and work through strategies and identify problems.  Save hundreds of dollars in attorney's fees by using this workshop to build a draft term sheet that meets your company's needs.

Investors: You will be able to read a company's term sheet and identify red flags, bad terms, and other reasons to walk away after this course. Find out how to protect yourself from dilution and protect your investment from future fundraising or exit troubles. You can't afford to miss this one.

Entrepreneurs: You will be able to structure your deal so that you investors are protected from dilution and so that you avoid future round pitfalls. Did you know you could structure your deal in such a way that you prevent any further investor from getting near you? You can't afford to miss this one.

Expert instruction from Lauren Ivison, an attorney with extensive securities experience and Associate Partner at Clear Creek Partners where she works with companies to structure strategic transactions ranging from $3 million to $30 million.
