Revenue Based Financing w/ Jamie Finney of the

Greater Colorado Venture Fund (GCVF)

An emerging alternative to traditional equity financing for startups has gained traction in recent years; Revenue Based Financing (RBF). RBF is almost like a blend of debt and equity financing, and provides a lot of upside for both investors and entrepreneurs. This funding option requires founders to pay back their investors with a fixed percentage of revenue until they have finished providing the investor with a fixed return on capital, which they agree upon in advance.

There is a lot to unpack with RBF and we're fortunate to have Jamie Finney, a partner with the Greater Colorado Venture Fund (GCVF), a Colorado-based VC fund investing in founders outside of the Front Range of Colorado. Jamie has led a number of RBF deals and will share his insights from what he's learned, and will also be available for Q&A with attendees.
