A few times a year, we bring our Investor Forum meetings together in one location to meet, mingle, and discuss deals. Attendees are accredited investors who are interested in learning about private equity investing in Colorado.

This is an opportunity to discuss the companies graduating from RVC's July 2019 HyperAccelerator after seeing them pitch their business! HyperAccelerator is an ultra-intense mentor-driven program that dives deep into the tough strategies and questions that need to be developed to land angel or venture investing. After an extraordinarily intense week, the cohort of HyperAccelerator participants will have the chance to showcase their business to the community. Investors will then meet to help determine which HyperAccelerator participants will move forward in RVC's formal investment process.

Newcomers and out of town visitors are welcome regardless of whether they are experienced Angels or if they are just curious.  There is no requirement to invest and each investor makes their own decisions on each deal. The HyperAccelerator Investor Forum is a good venue for prospective Angels to see a big part of how the process works and meet other angels who share their expertise.

The forum helps to make Angel Investing fun and more efficient by pooling the wisdom, efforts and funding of many individuals and syndicating on investments.  By sharing in due diligence and negotiation we are able to fund many more deals than if we pursued them as individuals.

The RVC Investor Forums meet to discuss companies that pitch during RVC Monthly Meetings, HyperAccelerator Programs and RVC Conferences such as the Angel Capital Summit and the Colorado Capital Conference.

Rockies Venture Club staff facilitates Forum meetings and Investor Forum members manage their own investments. RVC does not recommend investments as an adviser or broker dealer. RVC recruits entrepreneurs to pitch to our investors, we carefully select investment-worthy companies and coach them through an extensive pitch coaching process so that investors receive information in a format that includes what they need to know to make good investment decisions.

To attend, you must be an accredited investor (net worth of at least one million US dollars, not including the value of one’s primary residence, or have made at least $200,000 each year for the last two years [or $300,000 together with his or her spouse if married] and have the expectation to make the same amount this year). We do not require a minimum investment.
