Accelerate in Fort Collins: Angel Investors in Northern Colorado

Colorado was recently ranked as the 4th best state for startups in the country by the Kauffman foundation and Angel Investors are beating stock market returns by investing locally. 

New Angels who "wing it" and dive in without learning how angel investing is done may lose their investments.  The RVC Angel Accelerator is designed to provide key information about analyzing a deal, negotiation and valuations, legal and tax issues and more so that Angel Investors can make smart investments and do well while supporting their community.

During this half day event, RVC Executive Director, and author of Venture Capital for Dummies, Peter Adams will teach prospective angel investors the fundamentals of what they need to know  to be a successful angel and will give current investors a chance to brush up on their knowledge. 

Following the education portion of the event there will be pitches from 2-3 high quality Colorado companies that are looking for growth capital. This will be a chance for attendees to apply what they have learned.

Through a grant from the City of Fort Collins we are able to offer this event for free (a $749 value!) to current and prospective angel investors. If you are already a member of the Colorado Angel Investors (RVC's Fort Collins Chapter) please bring a guest at no cost!
