29th Colorado Capital Conference

Micro Venture Capital

MicroVCs play a huge role in the startup ecosystem, but the landscape is changing quickly. This year’s Colorado Capital Conference focuses on the evolving role of Micro VCs which are broadly defined as venture capital funds under $100 million in assets under management. We’ll be looking at new entrants into the MicroVC arena including accelerators and angel funds, and how startups should think about the pros and cons of going with a MicroVC as opposed to one of the larger VCs who can take them all the way to unicorn status. This is a conference that anyone from angel investors to startup teams should be sure to include on their calendar!

At this event you will have a chance to network with the companies that are going to be presenting the next day at CCC. We'll have some fun content and a great keynote address by Jack Tankersly, of Meritage Funds, Colorado's most seasoned venture capitalist!

Full Day Conference

The conference will be a dynamic combination of content from thought leaders in venture capital on how MicroVC is changing the landscape of angel and venture investing. We'll have a keynote speaker who will speak from the angel point of view with new data from the American Angel Project, then we'll have MicroVCs talking about their models and strategies, and also some of the top accelerators talking about their VC strategy.

You'll also have the opportunity to see pitches from 8 great companies seeking venture capital investment from RVC and its syndicate network. There will also be ample networking time, breakfast, lunch and a whole lot of fun.

CCC Angel Investor Forum

The investor forum follows our RVC events and this the place where the rubber hits the road. Open to all Accredited Investors, the investor forum is a place for investors to collaborate on deals and to negotiate and syndicate as a group in order to get more Colorado companies funded. This event is free to accredited investors, regardless of whether you made it to the conference or not! We'll be reviewing the 8 deals presented, discuss the opportunities, risks, and determine if we'll move along with the deal as a group!!
